Natural coenzyme Q10 - high dose

Burgerstein Q10 Capsules contain per capsule 100 mg coenzyme Q10 in the form of ubiquinone, which is obtained fermentatively in a natural process from yeast. The vegetarian capsules are tasteless, odourless and convenient for daily use. Coenzyme Q10 is found primarily in the mitochondria (powerhouses of cells), blood and cell membranes.

Coenzyme Q10 helps protect fats throughout the body from giving off electrons (oxidation) and thus from structural damage. Likewise, it can regenerate other antioxidants such as vitamin E. Thus, these can be used again as antioxidants.

In addition, coenzyme Q10 plays a vital role in energy production in the mitochondria ("cellular power plants") and thus contributes to the formation of ATP, the main energy carrier of the cells. The coenzyme Q10 concentration is therefore highest in the cells where the most energy is needed (heart, liver, kidneys, muscles, brain).

Furthermore, coenzyme Q10 can lower the levels of various inflammatory markers. It also improves the function of the vascular endothelium, the thin lining layer of blood vessels. This plays a central role in the regulation of vascular pressure or haemostasis.
