L-Lysine 500 mg

500 mg

The insider tip for every season.

L-lysine is an essential amino acid, which means that it cannot be produced by the body itself and must therefore be supplied with food. L-lysine is the counterpart of the amino acid L-arginine.

A deficiency of L-lysine leads to growth disorders and reduced immune function.

Since lysine is mainly found in animal foods, people who live vegan have a harder time meeting their needs. It should also be noted that some good natural mineral sources such as wheat germ, pumpkin seeds, oatmeal are rich in arginine at the same time.

The product is suitable for vegans and vegetarians. ( vegan / vegi / vegetarian)

L-lysine supports...

Woman, Man, Family, Vegetarian & Vegan

  • ... as a vital amino acid that cannot be produced by the body itself
  • ... the immune system
  • ... the body in its fight against the herpes virus (fever blisters)
  • ... in vegetarian or vegan diets
L-lysine is mainly found in animal products such as eggs, cheese, meat and fish. Vegans & vegetarians in particular should therefore make sure they have a sufficient supply of lysine
  • ... indirectly supports the development and maintenance of cartilage, bones, tendons, etc.

The sensitive skin of the lips is particularly susceptible to infections. The virus, which is dormant in the nerve cells, can become active again under certain conditions.
Responsible for the subsequent reactivation of the dormant herpes viruses are, among other things, disturbances of the body's own immune defence.

An intact immune system is a good protection against recurrent cold sore attacks. A balanced diet, moderate exercise, sufficient sleep and abstaining from too much alcohol and cigarettes contribute to this. Psychological strain and stress, which are known to increase the risk of cold sores, should be avoided as much as possible.
