Coenzym Q10

Coenzyme Q10 is an important, fat-soluble antioxidant that helps the body to protect fats and other lipophilic substances from oxidation. Often called “Q10” for short, it is a vitamin-like compound produced naturally in the body. Normally, the ongoing requirement is covered by the cell's own production, although this decreases from around the age of 40. In the human body, Q10 is mainly found in the heart, liver and kidneys. Coenzyme Q10 can be found in many foods, but only in very small quantities. Sardines contain a particularly high amount of Q10, but you would have to eat at least 2 kg of sardines to get 100 mg of coenzyme Q10 (the dose often used in supplements). We also offer Q10 in capsule form as a practical lozenge with a delicious, natural orange flavor.

You can find our products with coenzyme Q10 in the customer brochure "03 - Coenzyme Q10".
