Multivitamins

As a rule, we meet our nutritional requirements through a balanced and healthy diet. All the important vitamins and minerals are available in foods such as fresh fruit, vegetables, fish and meat.

However, a quick reach for ready meals, pastries from the bakery next door or fast food, growth spurts, an aversion to “greens” or when there is once again not enough time in the lunch break, the supply of micronutrients can sometimes be insufficient. Even people who cook vegetarian or vegan food or eat a very conscious diet can have a vitamin or mineral deficiency. A multivitamin and mineral supplement can therefore be a useful addition to the daily diet in such situations.

It is important for multivitamin products to be of good quality and contain balanced ingredients so that the body can metabolize the required micronutrients well.
